The Sherwood Rekker Legend 1 Shin Guard is perfect for elite-level players who thrive on their agility and quickness, fearlessly embracing every intense battle on the rink. Boasting an extraordinary protection package and streamlined, low-profile fit, the Legend 1 sets a new standard for Sherwood and comes with an unbeatable price tag.
Viconic Impact Protection was placed in the knee doughnut and outer knee wing for pro-level impact protection. Its cone-like design is specifically constructed to absorb and dissipate impact energy away from the body and into the surrounding protection. Molded high-density foam adds elite-level coverage to the calf for slashes or blocked shots. It has a new design called AIZ, which allows the calf guard to seamlessly wrap over the leg for 360-degree coverage and unrestricted mobility.
Sherwood's new I/O Guard is a special design that caters to both the tongues in or tongues out skaters. Keep the liner out and against the body for comfort if you're the tongues out style or slip the bottom portion of the liner inside the Guard to prevent wear and tear for the tongues in player.
The Legend 1 features CIP Technology in the upper thigh guard, allowing players to dial in their fit and coverage. A grip print has been added to the COP-r29 liner to ensure the protection stays locked on the leg during every stride and movement. This special liner has an incredibly soft feel to the touch and delivers some of the best odor-control on the market!

| GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES |

| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
