Offering exceptional coverage for the player who does it all, the Morph 1 is ideal for those who battle in tight spaces, block shots, and drive the play with confidence. When a player finds themselves in the midst of a battle, compress-molded HD foams and Sherwood's new Nitrex shock-absorbing foam provide full-leg protection. Nitrex specifically handles repeat impacts by efficiently absorbing impact energy in any rink temperature, offering elite-level protection within the knee doughnut.

Another standout feature is the strapping system, with a deep-anchored elastic calf strap that wraps securely around the leg for a locked-in, twist-free fit. Sherwood fine-tuned their AIZ strap system, helping it to contour to the leg for premium comfort and additional shin pad security.

Inside, a silicone-printed liner boosts grip against base layers or bare skin, and Sherwood's I/O Guard adds tongue-in or tongue-out customization to extend liner life and improve comfort. Finished with a removable, washable liner treated with MicroBan technology to fight odor and wick moisture, this elite-level shin guard is built for durability, freshness, and a superior fit.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES
Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility.
If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit.

My new favoritesI don't switch up my shin guards often, and I normally go the Easton/Jofa route, but given how much I like Sherwood's other equipment I figured I'd give these a shot. The calf wraps almost completely cover my calves, and the two straps keep them firmly in place (although I still tape them out of habit). They're lightweight and not too bulky without sacrificing protection.

Locked in feel for 35yr oldI am 35 and have had the pleasure of trying these shin guards over the CCM Next ones I had had and now would not trade these for any other guard. The knee cap gel supports contact and falls especially for me a new hockey player and skater. Definitely worth the knee saver.

Great shin guards, especially for the priceSwitched to these from Tacks, and I find them much more comfortable and locked in place, in addition to being a bit lighter. The knee cap protection also feels better and more substantial. Overall, a great buy. They do tend to run a tad hotter because of the wrap around the ankle, but I don't find it to be much of an issue and I like the extra calf protection.
