Overview
The True Hzrdus 7X Stick is the definition of elite value in the quick-releasing, low-kick stick category. At just 399 grams (85 flex) with some of the very best stick technologies in the game, most players would think the 7X is a top-end model if they didn't look at the price tag.
While the Hzrdus family evolved from the A-Series, this 7X stick debuts exciting ResFlo, PLD and TRT technologies that have been a game-changer for True. The ResFlo Resin System is a more advanced material composition that reduces weight without compromising strength. PLD or Performance Laminate Design also helps to shed weight by using thinner carbon layers in a more intricate design to do so.
The other big change for Hzrdus this year is the TRT or Tri Rib Technology. This three-rib system also helps to shed weight but in the most important and delicate area, the blade. Each rib is specifically placed to optimize durability in a featherlight construction. Aside from weight, the responsiveness, accuracy and overall blade feel is significantly improved from years past.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
---|---|
ResFlo Technology This next-generation design process reduces the amount of resin (glue) needed to build the stick; resulting in a more consistent and lighter product without compromising strength. |
|
Tri Rib Technology (TRT) This new three-rib internal structure significantly improves durability and accuracy while reducing weight. The bottom-most rib reinforces the heavily-impacted heel area, while the middle rib is placed exactly at puck-contact height for maximum accuracy. The upper-most rib helps to promote a long-lasting feel and responsiveness while also aiding in accuracy. |
|
Precision Laminate Design (PLD) An advanced process that uses thinner layers of carbon fiber to create thinner, lighter shaft walls with the same level of strength and durability. |

GENERAL STICK FLEX AND SIZING RECOMMENDATION | |
---|---|
We recommend choosing the hockey stick flex that puts your specific height and weight at the middlemost point in both categories. A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points. See the flex chart and articles below for more detailed information on sizing and selecting hockey sticks. |
