Overview
The Warrior Alpha LX Pro Youth Shin Guard is designed specifically for the competitive youth hockey player, boasting a ribbed molded shell for impact protection and thick standard foam providing ample coverage to the back of the leg.
Warrior included an anti-abrasion patch on the bottom of the shin guard to cater to players who wear their shin guard underneath their skate tongue. The patch helps prevent unwanted wear and tear in order to keep the tongue in better shape for a lot longer.
Protection stays not only locked against the leg all game long but offers a comfortable fit that players will enjoy. That's because the LX Pro boasts two elastic straps and a soft, contouring liner. The strike yellow liner excels at wicking sweat and moisture away from the leg and when it's time can be thrown into the washing machine to help maintain its freshness.

| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
