This style suits players who thrive on generation strong, top end speed through longer and forceful strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.Acceleration-Focused Playing Style
For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Warrior Alpha Pro Shin Guard showcases elite-level protection for the player who battles their way to the net, wins pucks along the boards, and who will step into the shooting lane. Not only that but it has an extremely comfortable fit the moment you strap them up.
Covering a large portion of the calf is Warrior's Impax Foam, their top-end design that's built to take on repeated impacts like slashes through traffic or a blocked shot on the PK. This compression-molded foam wraps the leg for full coverage and has a lightweight design to keep the player agile.
The liner has plush cushion foam that feels great against the leg and comes with a Silicone detail on the knee and shin for pad security. Warrior's Fantom Stretch Sling Wrap is one of the most comfortable strapping designs as it doesn't pinch the skin, yet it keeps the shin guard from twisting during gameplay. Below, the large Velcro calf strap has a low profile design so it doesn't snag and get caught on your hockey socks.

| GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |

| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
