Internally, it features a removable liner that comes with a 75° break angle, giving the hand an index finger to mid-thumb closure. The G7 Pro has longer dimensions at the thumb, which creates a wider catching shape for more coverage and catching room when in the game-ready stance.
It boasts Warrior's HyperComp reinforced core, giving the competitive goalie a durable yet highly protective catcher. Along with a redesigned cuff shape, the G7 Pro excels at mobility for snagging pucks trying to make their way to the top corner.
Built with Warriors CoverEDGE+, the face of the catcher in the game-ready stance has a slightly forward position to cut down the angle of an incoming shooter. This angle reduces pucks skipping over the catcher and keeps rebounds within arm's reach. It also helps goalies have better control over their goalie stick when dishing outlet passes or clearing the zone.
The pocket features a single tee design to accommodate the broader dimensions of the G7 Pro, enhancing the ease of catching and tracking pucks. Its widened opening facilitates superior puck retention, aiding goaltenders in controlling and securely holding onto the puck post-save.
