The Winnwell GX7 Street Hockey Goalie Catcher is for the competitive street and floor hockey goalie looking for a game-ready closure and comfortable fit. High-density foam provides great protection against street hockey balls while the double-tee pocket is designed to close quickly and secure catcher saves. The GX7 boasts a synthetic leather palm for great durability and comes with a Velcro wrist adjustment so goalies can dial in their fit and ensure the catcher stays locked on the hand.

Great product for the moneyI bought the GX7 for my 7 year daughter and I couldn’t be happier. I originally purchased the GX5 but wanted a little more protection, and this exceeded my expectations. She uses it for roller hockey and it’s perfect. It’s light and comfortable as well.
The glove is firm and yet she could close it unlike some of the more expensive ice hockey catchers.
As far as protection, she could use this on the ice if needed. I don’t even think it would absorb much water on the back hand of the glove which is a tight knit polyester.
One last thing. The glove comes with a velcro pillow that can be removed. This is what makes the glove fit her so well. When removed, it fits me perfectly fine, and I use size 15 gloves.
All in all, it’s great for the price. There is no need to spent 300+ for a recreational roller hockey glove.
