The CCM JetSpeed Ice Hockey Skates are the top of the line model in the exciting and innovative JetSpeed Line. It showcases CCM's brand-new RocketFrame™ quarter package that wraps and contours around the foot like no CCM skate before, delivering mind-blowing agility and power through each stride (see the drastic JetSpeed vs. RBZ boot shape comparison in the image gallery.) These JetSpeed skates also come with the option to choose a High, Medium or Low Custom Support Insole that will provide personalized support for optimal fit, performance and comfort.
Besides the new contoured fit, the RocketFrame™ is composite-reinforced to provide elite stiffness and support while keeping the weight down as much as possible. The new UltraLight Carbon Force Outsole also aids in this department with it's lightweight design and the new center indentation that makes for a more efficient energy transfer process. The outsole also features exhaust vents that help to push moisture out of the boot, keeping feet dry and reducing drying time after games.
The JetSpeed Ice Hockey Skate utilizes CCM's JetProtect tongue that offers pro-level comfort and protection. It's constructed of thick white felt backed by EPP and HD foams, with an integrated lace-bite saddle. At the top of the quarter package are two Comfort Wraps that alleviate high ankle abrasion while the two Durazone Abrasion patches at the top of the eyelets reinforce the high-wear area.
These JetSpeeds showcase the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder with CCM's premium HyperGlide polished runners. The high-polish finish helps to reduce drag in the ice and is a similar concept to wax on the bottom of a snowboard.

Comments: All I can say is that these skates are GREAT! I love using CCM skates because they fit me fit perfectly. I have used Bauer skates before but they just don't give me the right fit. These skates have lasted me for almost a year now, and I hope for a couple more. Before these skates I used the RBZ skates and those lasted me for 3 years. I didn't even have to replace the laces once! I will continue to be buying CCM skates and I recommend that you should too.

Comments: I've skated in Bauer's since I started playing hockey. Felt that it was time for a change and landed on the Jetspeeds by CCM. These skates are unbelievably light in weight and the Hyperglide steel really do make a difference when it comes to your stride. The heel lock is noticeable as you're more inclined to lean back in this skate. Took a couple of laps around the rink to get the feel for that but overall I'm super stoked about these skates. CCM has really stepped up their design and products overall. I've switched over to all CCM equipment during this last year including gloves, shin guards, shoulder pads, elbow pads, sticks and now the JetSpeed skates. Thanks CCM!

Comments: I absolutely love these skates! I was in the market for new skates after 5 years with my 20K's and after trying these on I fell in love. These were the first pair I tried on and kept finding myself going back to these skates. The fit is unreal, even before I got them heat molded. The comfort level is off the charts, and has little to no negative space---they fit like a glove. Break in time was minimal, about an hour on the ice during a puckshoot, and they were good to go! In my opinion the 4.0+ holders perform better than Tuuk LS3 (I had LS3 holders on my 20K skates and actually prefer the 4.0+ holders). CCM really did an amazing job on these skates, and have made me a customer for life. Do yourself a favor and consider the CCM Jetspeeds as your next skate, you won't be disappointed.

Comments: For a long time CCM has seemed to be just a bit behind other companies, Bauer specifically, when it comes to skates. That has all changed with CCM's newest line, the JetSpeed skate. This is a product that players of the elite level will fall in love with immediately.
Anyone who is familiar with CCM skates knows the biggest down fall of their older products (RBZ line) was the overall fit of the skate. The JetSpeed skate is completely different in its fit to the foot with the RocketFrame technology it has incorporated. A revolutionary design has made the fit of the JetSpeed skate significantly tighter around the foot with the biggest change being the tightness in the heel to eliminate any excess movement. The first time I wore the skate it felt a bit awkward changing over from Bauer MX3 skates, but after an hour or so I fell in love. The way the skate wraps around the foot seems to eliminate any lag time on strides and will help players to reduce any wasted energy.
Along with the great fit of the JetSpeed skates the feel and comfortability rivals any pair of skates you will ever wear. The skates come with a standard insole when purchasing the skates, but CCM also will include its own CurrexSole footbed insoles that will have your feet falling in love. Added arch support and flexibility allows the insole to form a custom mold to your distinct foot shape. The first few times skating with the CurrexSole insoles in the skates there may be some small discomfort in the arch of your foot, however do not be alarmed. I found it was like breaking in a new pair of shoes and after a few days the insole has completely fit around my foot and makes the skate worth every penny.
For many high end players the biggest question is durability and these skates are up to the challenge. The boot of the skate takes abuse very well and shows no signs of wear and tear. The only negative aspect I have found so far was the steel. The Hyperglide steel broke after three skates and from a personal preference I would possibly recommend changing it out, but that is my own view. Other than the steel I have found nothing to subpar and will continue to wear CCM products.

Comments: CCM did a great job of reinventing themselves this year, these JetSpeeds are on a whole new level. Even before you bake them, they contour and hug every bone in your foot; and even more so after you heat mold them. They had very little break-in time even though they're a very stiff skate. My only complaint is that I wished they had the Pump and LaceLock feature from the 50K's but other than that, this is a home run for CCM.
