The Easton Mako M5 II Grip Hockey Stick is an elite stick that carries with it elite durability. It essentially has the same construction as the flagship Mako II stick but with some key reinforced areas to provide maximum durability without sacrificing weight.

This Mako M5 II stick took the top of the line Mako stick and built upon it to provide some great longevity and durability. The shaft also uses the all new Uni-Carbon System that universally aligns all the fibers in the shaft to provide a tighter wrap, giving the player a lighter, stronger and more responsive shaft. Another improvement in the 2nd Generation Mako sticks is the blade construction. The blade received a really nice upgrade, essentially doubling the amount of internal ribs that run heel to toe. These four ribs help to provide durability as well as decrease puck deflection giving the player a blade that is accurate and lasting. In order to beef this stick up, Easton made the side walls slightly thicker and added more reinforcing material in the blade to make for a solid and sturdy stick. With the additional reinforcing weight, this beefed up Mako M5 II stick is lighter than last year's flagship Mako!
