The Vaughn 1100 Foam Core Goal Stick uses a mixture of wood, foam core and carbon materials to produce a stick that is both lightweight and durable. A strong emphasis has been put on creating even flex points throughout the 1100 goal stick, which makes it easier to get more consistent passes.

The Vaughn 1100 goal stick is constructed with an Aircraft veneer handle that is designed to have a completely even flex and still remain durable. Often times, having varying kick points leads to shots being unpredictable and thus risky for goaltenders looking to clear the puck from their crease. The 1100 goal stick ensures that if the technique is correct, the goaltender will get the same shot every time. The paddle has a foam core injection that reduces the weight of the stick and helps dampen vibrations from incoming shots. The paddle is laminated with a thin hard pre-formed laminate that gives better flex, increases durability and creates a harder shell that makes deflecting pucks to the boards easier. The blade of the Vaughn 1100 stick is laminated with Carbon reinforcement layers on the front and back, producing a stiffer blade and stronger puck deflection.

The Vaughn 1100 Foam Core goal stick is designed for goaltenders at any level of play that want consistency and high performance at a very reasonable price.
