Overview
The Konixx Tachyon Hockey Wheel will have you experiencing the speed and grip usually only found in expensive, top-end wheels at a more affordable price. By using very similar materials to one of the most popular elite wheels in the game, the Konixx Pure Wheel, this Tachyon offers serious bang for your buck.
The Tachyon stands out from the rest of the wheels at this price thanks to its dual-pour construction. Unlike the single-pour construction found in the competition, Konixx is able to offer a similar premium grip, speed and durability at this secondary price-point.

HOCKEY WHEEL HARDNESS GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example +2 wheels (similar to an 80A wheel hardness) are built for players up to 230 lbs while +0 wheels (similar to 76A hardness) are designed for players up to 180 lbs. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed. |

Customer Reviews
Tachyons for the winMy son (U8) played his first roller tourney of the season since switching to Konixx Tachyon wheels and he reported his skates performed with the most grip he’s experienced on the rink!
His transition skating seemed very sharp and responsive in both zones of the rink and the speed burst compared to others was certainly noticeable from the first period of play. His confidence soared as the tournament progressed.
When asked how the games went out there he responded, “Dad, thank you so much for the new wheels. They’re so fast”.
Thanks to his coaches, teammates, and upgraded wheels, my son’s team was able to take first place to start the season. Great entry level dual pour wheel Konixx! Thank you for helping to create some lifelong memories!
