For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Sherwood Code Encrypt 2 Shin Guard was built for speed, mobility, and competitive protection at an affordable price. Players get to experience Sherwood's 360° Wrap, a premium design in which the strapping system locks the protection better than ever while providing a highly comfortable wrap around the leg.
Compress-molded high-density foam with PE reinforcement offers excellent coverage and impact protection from slashes and wacks for the player who battles in corners and enjoys splitting through the defense. Sherwood used perforated base foams, mesh overlays, and included a ventilation port behind the liner for excellent breathability and a lighter fit.
An incredibly comfortable liner sits against the leg and can be adjusted up or down with Sherwood's Customizable Impact Protection. It's removable for drying after games and features a strategic knee cut-out that offers a great fit around the kneecap. MicroBan is also treated directly to the fibers, which works hard to destroy and eliminate bacteria that produce unwanted odors.

| GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |

| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
