The Bladetech Speedblade XS Polished Steel Runners feature Flex Force Technology, which makes Bladetech unlike any other replacement steel on the market. Flex Force Technology provides hockey players with both performance and health benefits. The runner has a unique design where the blade flexes up into the holder, absorbing and storing the vertical energy before exploding it back out during the stride extension.

This new technology increases player speed and acceleration, as well as absorbs vertical energy that would normally be absorbed by the knee joint. This ultimately reduces stress on the knees while increasing the efficiency of each stride, slowing down player fatigue. Bladetech only uses the highest quality of steel and finished the surface with a high polish, giving players a longer glide and sharpening life.

Lastly, the runners come pre-profiled so that the blades maintain better ice contact in all skating positions. This improves stability, glide, acceleration, stopping and turning over standard stock profiles.

IW can have your skate blades delivered profiled, sharpened, and game-ready with Elite Blade Performance technology! Choose custom profiles like Double, Triple, Quad, SCS, and Polaris to boost speed, stability, and agility. We offer various sharpening options and an Express Mail-In service. Select your profile and sharpening hollow when adding a blade to your cart. Most important part of your gear...These blades have incredible glide compared to the non-polished style blades (that applies across brands and specific products but is helpful to know it's not just hype). The triple radius is an improvement over a single radius.
