The CCM Extreme Flex 7.5 Goalie Leg Pads are perfect for the recreational goalie, as they offer a flexible feel while being built for easier butterfly closure. Its LiteCore core construction is incredibly lightweight, allowing goalies to move and react with every save. Paired with a flat-faced design, the 7.5 helps angle pucks away from the crease so goalies have time to setup for their next save.

Working together to create an excellent seal, pad stability, and smooth slides is the Dynamic Response System and Easy Glide PU exterior. Goalies can react quickly from post to post and feel confident in their five-hole coverage. The Quick Motion Strapping System and deep leg channel deliver a secure and comfortable fit that enables the pads to easily rotate and recover when transitioning in and out of the butterfly.

Just buy the 7.9 or 7 these don’t slide.Years past you could buy a .5 pad from CCM and it would work great. You’d save money and get the look of the .9 or or the main model or pro model at a wallet friendly price. I bought the 7.5 leg pads thinking it would be like the previous iterations. Dead wrong. These Do Not Slide. I’ve been playing nearly my whole life currently play in Division 4-5 level hockey and never had issues with butterfly slides. These do not slide at all. You’ll do the most powerful push and go maybe 3-5 inches on fresh ice. When you’re in the later minutes and the crease is roughed up you’re not sliding at all. It’s embarrassing. I let a San Jose sharks practice goalie who played D1 try them and he also could not slide at all. He tried everything and they would do the same thing where it just doesn’t slide. A guy in my league bought the 7.9 pads and his would slide effortlessly. The .5 and .9 use different sliding surfaces so the .9 slides great. Who at CCM tested the .75 legs and concluded these were okay to sell? Reading online it seems like everyone else has the same feelings as me with the 7.5 legs. If you’re thinking about saving money but want to get into the eflex 7 line avoid the 7.5 model. I have also bought the 7.5 catch glove to try the 580 break and it already has dents and cracking after 3 games. The .5 line from CCM used to be great. Why does the 7.5 have a flat face while the 7.9 and 7 have rolls?!?! This is just bad. The 7.5 line needs to be avoided. Get the extra money and get the 7.9 Only giving a 2 because they’re lightweight and crafted well.
