Overview
The Sherwood Code TMP 2 Shin Guard is a well-executed performance-level shin guard that brings affordable protection, coverage, and comfort to the competitive skater. The calf guard boasts extensive coverage to guard players against hacks and slashes as they dig along the boards or work their way through traffic. It utilizes a plastic insert, thick standard foam for cushion, and an extra high-density foam insert where the leg is most prone to impact.
Getting a calf guard that fits can be a pain, so Sherwood incorporated their Custom Impact Protection in the calf strapping system. A 3-point harness with a length adjustable strap allows players to truly obtain a fit that stays secure and keeps the protection wrapped close-to-the-body.
The soft and anatomically shaped liner feels great against the leg while offering moisture-wicking and odor-reducing properties. A copper thread within the liner provides a natural and effective way at reducing bacteria that cause unwanted odor without sacrificing comfort. It also wraps over the top of the calf guard, providing players with a chafe-free experience during the game.

| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
